With over 500 staff working out of multiple locations in Dublin, this company contacted us for help. They had traditional office shredders scattered randomly throughout their facilities but they were growing so fast they were concerned that they needed a better solution to ensure that confidential waste paperwork was all being destroyed in line with their corporate policy on information disposal. They explained it to us like this “our customers trust us and we will not get a second chance if we make a mistake with our customers information”.
With this in mind we rolled out our solution which involved distributing 35 of our lockable shredding consoles throughout 3 of their buildings. The idea was that there would always be a shredding container close by when someone in the building wanted to dispose of a piece of confidential paper work. The client did not want staff to have to shred themselves as they evaluated this as a potential risk. When staff are busy they are going to long finger the task and as a consequence they concluded that paperwork may end up taking longer to destroy than necessary. Our scheduled console service was the perfect solution. We implemented a weekly onsite shredding routine and report back to the client on a quarterly basis so that they can monitor volumes destroyed from specific departments. This helps them identify any fluctuations outside the norm and appropriate measures can be taken to ensure that all their staff have a convenient destruction service available to them and that the material is destroyed efficiently and in accordance with their legislative obligations. We are in constant contact with this customer and as their company continues to grow we continue to tailor our solution around them.
